"Art of Fact ... The Human Remains"

Over the past decade my art has focused on the adversity in the "Human Condition". Largely based on personal experiences, I have created work that address childhood memories, addiction, gay rights, bigotry, sexuality, HIV and widowhood. My work invites the viewer to witness the world through the eyes of a middle-aged gay man.

I see my art as a sort of artifact, a residue of things gone by and a testament to human endurance and survival.

For this exhibit I have created a site-specific installation using samplings of work created over the past decade. The combination of art, text and artifact act as a narrative surrounding the strength and weakness that remain within the human psyche.
